Terms of sale and use

These terms govern the purchase and use of Banana Vault digital collectibles, user accounts and the Vault. Buyers must be at least 18 years old. Mandatory consumer rules in the consumer’s country remain applicable where they cannot lawfully be waived.

Each purchase concerns a digital “banana” collectible with a unique number. No physical item is shipped. The collectible is not an NFT and does not use blockchain. In V1 there is no secondary market, resale or user-to-user transfer.

The public reference price is €1 including tax per banana unless another total is clearly shown before payment. Maximum supply is 455,000,000 bananas, numbered up to #455000000. An issued number is never reassigned.

Before payment the customer must be able to review quantity, total price and essential information. The order becomes final after server-side payment confirmation. An abandoned or unconfirmed payment does not constitute delivery.

Online payments are processed by Stripe or other payment methods enabled in the relevant flow. Banana Vault does not store complete payment-card data. Fraud screening and strong customer authentication may apply.

After effective payment confirmation, bananas are created and attached to the user’s Vault. If delivery fails, the customer should contact support so the order can be reconciled.

Identifiers, unique numbers, acquisition dates and acquired rights are intended to be preserved through interface upgrades. Early bananas may keep a historic or “Genesis” status without any promise of financial value.

No return, income, dividend, interest, future value or financial gain is promised. References to vaults, security, potassium, rarity or prestige are part of the humorous collector universe.

In V1 Banana Life is only a preview and is not an active paid service. Future features may change, be delayed or never launch. They are not essential characteristics of a banana bought today unless expressly stated at purchase.

For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, the withdrawal right may be lost once performance begins after the consumer’s express request and acknowledgement of that loss, where the applicable legal conditions are met.

Requests may be reviewed for duplicate payment, verified technical error, payment captured without delivery or another service-attributable anomaly. A full refund cancels the rights attached to the collectible concerned, but its unique number is not reassigned.

Where fraud, chargeback, abusive use or a security issue is suspected, Banana Vault may temporarily freeze the relevant account or collectible while the matter is reviewed.

Buying a collectible does not transfer intellectual-property rights in Banana Vault, its artwork, software or trademarks. The customer receives a personal right to use the collectible within the functions made available by the service.
