Why Keep a Banana in a Vault?
A digital banana cannot be stolen from your fruit bowl. We still decided a vault was the bare minimum.
The banana threat model
The risk was never burglary. It was letting a numbered banana exist without dramatic infrastructure around it.
The Vault as habitat
The Vault organises the collection, floors and experiences. The theatrical security is part of the universe, not a financial promise.
Official conclusion
A folder called “my bananas” would work. It would simply be much less Banana Vault.
